7-Step Night Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin in Summer

Yes—just removing makeup isn’t enough. If you have oily skin, make sure you use an oil-control face wash, but also ensure that it is hydrating and doesn’t dry out your skin as that could cause acne too.

Step 3: Exfoliate, But Mildly

A good, mild exfoliator is a must after you’ve cleansed your face. It helps get rid of dead skin and any dirt remaining on your skin that your cleanser may have missed.

Step 4: Clay Mask for Cooling & Soothing the Skin

A clay mask is essential especially in summer to calm your skin. It can be treated as an extra step if you’re willing to stay up for 10-15 minutes more😀.

Step 5: Apply Night Cream—the Most Important Step

If you choose retinol, make sure to start with a low concentration like 0.25%. Also, NEVER skip sunscreen once you’ve begun your retinol skincare.

Choose a good oil-free face cream for summer that’s not just hydrating but also oil-free. Don’t skip this step even for oily skin, especially if you’re using retinol since it can be quite drying.

Step 7: Eye Cream for Bright Eyes
