What is Ultime Pro Eye Pencil
If you’re looking to invest in eye pencils, but aren’t quite sure what to buy, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve got the inside scoop on the Ultime Pro Eye Pencil and everything you need to know about how it works, how to use it, and how you can get your hands on one of these fancy writing utensils. Check out this list of five things that you should know about the Ultime Pro Eye Pencil below!
Step 1: Apply with 2 coats of your favorite eye pencil base
The Ultimepro eye pencil liner is best applied with a base coat of your favorite, smooth-textured eye pencil. This adds color and helps it glide on more easily—and makes it possible for you to apply with just one stroke instead of two or three.
To save even more time in the morning, we recommend you to apply my eyeshadow base first thing, before anything else. It sets faster when you use a small brush (like an angled liner brush) and pat it all over your lid instead of sweeping because that tends to push and blend product onto areas you don't want it. And applying your base over bare skin means no concealer products are getting in their way.
Step 2: Generously apply pencil onto the upper lid, starting from the inner corner towards the outer corner
The first step for an amazing, long-lasting eye is making sure your eyeshadow doesn't wear off. The best way to do that is with a good base. Using just a small amount of pencil, apply it to the upper eyelid. This will give you a better hold on your eyeshadow while keeping it bright and vibrant throughout the day.
Make sure you go from the inner corner of the eye towards the outer corner, using gentle upward strokes in a motion that mimics a windshield wiper (this will spread out pigment more evenly than just jabbing at it). Remember: Less is more! If you use too much pencil, your eye pencil shadow will begin to fade and crease faster, so keep the application light and easy-peasy!
Step 3: Define the lower lash line
The lighter you apply your pencil, the more delicate and beautiful your eye will look. Start by tracing a line directly underneath your lashes. Try to avoid drawing lines in all directions, as it will make your eyes appear smaller.
Only draw a thin line extending from one corner of your eye in a curved shape around your nose. If you want, add definition to your lower lash line by drawing vertical and horizontal lines within that border - just make sure they're faint enough so they don't distract from what's above them!
Step 4: Blend outwards
Sweep shadow from lash line to brow bone in a windshield-wiper motion with a small blending brush. Apply concealer under your eyes and down your nose, then blend with fingers or a damp Beautyblender. The key is not so much about blending for perfect coverage as it is about blending for an airbrushed look that makes you look younger and well-rested. Even if your eye concealer isn't blended, it doesn't matter, she says.
Step 5: Define the crease
If you’re new to eye pencil makeup, then your eyelids might not be as familiar with eye pencils as they are with liquid eyeliner. Don’t let that scare you off—all it means is that you need some additional practice before moving on to lining your waterline. The first step in getting familiar with applying eye pencil is defining your crease, which is where your upper and lower eyelids meet. Start by tracing along the perimeter of each lid using a light touch. As long as you use a light hand, there won’t be any fallout or waste!
Step 6: Soften & blend
Softening and blending are two steps in one: Brush a black eye pencil along your upper lash line. Use a blending brush (or a cotton swab) with a bit of water on it, and feather outlines or create softer edges. It will look less harsh and make your eyes look bigger. If you have some extra time, you can follow up with another coat of mascara to thicken things up.
Step 7: Define under eye area & finish off with powder
Use a brush or your finger to apply eye shadow over your upper lid. This will give you a chance to blend out harsh lines, plus it'll make sure that nothing ends up in your crease. Then, using clean fingers (or a brush), apply an eye pencil or gel liner as close as possible to your lash line—aim for about 0.5mm (about 1/16 inch) from your lashes.
This is what creates that smooth appearance and should keep any excess mascara off of them. Once you’ve gotten close, trace over with an eyeshadow that matches whatever you applied on top of—this will prevent it from looking messy!
Step 8: Double-check the final look in a mirror & take pictures because you're stunning!
Now that your outfit is finished, it's time to make sure you look stunning! Take a few photos and check them out in a mirror. Do they need another layer? More accessories? If there’s anything that needs changing, fix it! (don’t worry if you are not confident with your fashion sense at first, but practice makes perfect!) Remember: Look good. Feel good. Keep going.
Why we use Ultime Pro Eye Pencil
We know that choosing the right makeup pencil can be tough. There are so many different types and so many brands out there that it’s hard to know where to start, not to mention how much we have to spend on one product! But today we’re going to break down everything you need to know about the Ultime Pro Eye Pencil and how you can use it to easily achieve any look or style you want – whether you’re getting ready for work, a party, or even just spending time with your family on the weekend!
High-quality eyeliners are typically highly pigmented and can give a very bold look when they’re worn all over as eyeshadow. You’ll need to make sure that you have a good primer on, as these liners can be messy!
However, when it comes to a strong or striking look, these are among our top favorites. And because their pigment is so high quality, they tend to last a long time on your eyes! The only downside? If your skin is oily or you live in a humid climate, it may smudge – although if you use an oil-free primer, then this won’t be much of an issue for you.
Long-lasting (doesn't crease!)
You’re going to be touching up your makeup throughout the day and night, but with Ultime’s long-lasting properties, you won’t have to worry about creasing. This eye pencil will still be on point, even if you fall asleep in it! It lasts all day without smudging or running, keeping you looking great no matter what. Even if you accidentally wipe it with your fingers—it won’t budge! So before heading out for a busy day, make sure you use an eye pencil that will last.
Quick & easy to apply
Many eyeliners are difficult to apply, but not ours. The last thing we want to do is create a struggle for ourselves in putting on our makeup. We love how our liner glides on so easily and stays put no matter what activities we're doing.
Whether we're out and about or going to work, it just stays put as though it's tattooed on! When was the last time you applied your eyeliner and didn't have to touch up once? When was the last time you didn't have to worry about smudging all over your lids, even after an entire day of wear?
Waterproof (that means no smudges!)
People with oily skin tend to have more than their fair share of makeup mishaps. When your skin is slick, powders and liquids alike can slide off your face like a hockey puck off an air-hockey table. Even waterproof eyeliners seem to give up against oily lids. The only thing that stays put when you're sweaty or shiny is waterproof mascara, which is both a blessing and a curse: It won't move no matter what—until you try to wash it off, at least—but it doesn't come out easily.
Works great as an eyeliner or shadow base.
Because of its non-drying formula, you can use it as a base for your eyeshadow (and/or eyeliner). It helps keep your eyeshadow from creasing and it keeps your eye makeup looking fresh all day long.
We recommend you to apply it with a brush so that it can press down on the lid; using brushes gives an airbrushed effect. It glides on smoothly, which is great for women who don't have time to wait for their liner to dry before going about their day or women who hate getting poked in the eye with pencils.
Doesn’t irritate our eyes!
The first thing we love about our eyeliner is that it doesn’t irritate our eyes at all. This can be a big problem with makeup and especially with pencil liners because they tend to get in your eyes. With Ultime Pro Eye Pencil, we never have to worry about losing a liner brush inside our eyelid!
Using eyeliner is such an important part of any makeup routine and we want to be able to do it in comfort. This product solves that problem completely! Plus, with so many eye pencil colors available, there are endless eye looks you can create without having to keep buying more products or going to different stores for different colors.
What Ultime Pro Eye Pencil does
There are many different eye pencil brown available on the market, and it can be difficult to choose which one will be best for you. When looking at pencils, consider what qualities you’re looking for most in an eye pencil, then consider the qualities of this Ultime Pro Eye Pencil product, which offers everything you could want in an eye pencil while also being affordable. With its incredible ability to glide across your lids with ease and precision, this pencil will offer you the beauty and luster you want from your eyeshadow in no time.
Eye pencil eyeliner is great for creating a soft smokey look around your eyes. This is a classic eye-makeup trick used by women everywhere. If you're going to get started with makeup, these makeup products can be essential to get started.
When it comes to Faces Canada eye pencil, you want something that's going to stay put and not run down your face throughout the day. For example, if you're working out or in particularly warm conditions, it could mean that your eyeliner will start smudging and running across your face within minutes of applying it. If that happens, you have to touch up often (which could lead to uneven results), or even worse, start over entirely.
How it works
The formula of ULTIME Pro Faces Canada long wear eye pencil, enriched with micronized pigments and micro-crystalline wax, offers a 4-in-1 eye treatment. The combination of minerals from Faces Canada laboratories works to correct and perfect your eyes, protecting their delicate contours. The pencil can be used as an eyeliner or smudged along your lash line as a base before applying mascara. You'll love its creamy texture that glides onto your skin and achieves optimum color payoff in one stroke.
Why choose it?
It glides on smoothly and precisely. If you have hooded or deep-set eyes, it’s hard to find pencils that are dark enough to create bold definition but blendable enough not to leave harsh lines in your crease. The richness of this pigment provides deep color with one stroke, and their creamy formula blends easily so you can achieve an eye look that’s natural (without looking too done). This pencil is smudge-proof, waterproof, and won't fade until you want it to.
Comparison with other pencils
Using a Face's Canada eyeliner pencil can be tricky, as it’s easy to end up with lines that are too thick or heavy—and looking like you spent all day on your makeup. The key is choosing one that’s simple to apply and forgiving enough if you make a mistake.
One of our favorite eye pencils is Faces Canada eyeliner pencil. The soft, gel-like formula glides on smoothly and delivers a precise line every time. And if you do happen to make a mistake, it blends easily and seamlessly without smudging or moving.
How to use it?
The best eye pencil for your eyes depends on what you're looking to get out of it. If you want a long-lasting eyeliner that stays put, then look no further than Faces Canada. The pointed tip and smudge-proof formula mean it goes on smoothly and lasts longer than many eyeliners. It also comes in 20 rich shades so that you can find your match with ease. If you're looking for something simple that won't tug at your eyelids, try Faces Canada Eyeliner . This water-resistant pencil is soft enough to go on easily but thick enough to provide smooth coverage without much effort needed on your part.
Is there an alternative?
The power of a Faces Canada Ultime pro eye pencil will vary depending on how you use it. If you're looking to create a definition along your lash line, go with a softer pencil like Faces Canada Eye Pencil. It's one of our favorite mascaras for definition and has a crayon-like tip that allows you to reach even your tiniest lashes. If neither of these options works for you, consider using an eye shadow pencil in a shade that complements your eye color and lashes instead of trying to mimic them.
How to use Ultime Pro Eye Pencil
Eyeliner eye pencil plays an important role in any type of makeup look, whether it’s subtle or extravagant. Today I’m going to show you how to use Faces Canada Ultime Pro Eye Pencil to create a glamorous look perfect for your next date or special occasion. Because of its creamy consistency, this eyeliner works great on the waterline, which gives your eyes an extra pop of color and makes them appear larger and more open. Let’s get started!
About Faces Canada
Faces Canada is one of my favorite brands for removing makeup. Their Gentle Cleansing Micellar Water does an amazing job removing my makeup, even waterproof mascara! I just switched from their Sensibio H2O (also great!) to their new formula, Hypoallergenic Sensibio H2O which contains no fragrance or preservatives.
Although it’s not marketed as such, I can tell you that it also works wonderfully on sensitive skin. A small pump goes a long way so you don’t need much product and one bottle lasts forever! Like all Faces Canada products, I think it’s an excellent value for how much product you get!
Step 1: Get the desired shape with the pencil
You can create any type of eyeliner eye pencil shape you want with your eye pencil. Try using your pencil at an angle for a cat-eye effect or on its side for subtle lines. For something more natural, simply use it straight out of the tube and apply it in short strokes for an even layer of color. The choice is yours! No matter which technique you choose, though, keep in mind that your lines should never extend past your lashes if you’re aiming for a professional look.
Step 2: Add some color on top of your eyelid
You can use either a shimmer or satin eyeshadow eye pencil, apply it with your finger or you can use an eye brush. For some extra glamour, apply a highlighter around your tear duct and inner corner of your eye: it will make your eyes pop and give them a wide-awake look. Do not forget to blend!
Step 3: Blend everything
The next step is to apply eye shadows, liner, and mascara. Start by sweeping on neutral eyeshadow colors for a soft look. Apply eyeliner along your lash line using an eyeliner brush or pencil. Next, brush on mascara or false lashes for extra length and volume. To finish off your eyes, dust in some shimmery shadow across your brow bone—it will bring light into your eyes and make them pop!
Step 4: Decorate your look with shadows, liner, and mascara
Once you’ve put your face on, it’s time to start decorating. Make sure you always have some sort of eye shadow with you as well; a glittery pink or gold can go over any simple liquid eyeliner or mascara look and turn it into something much more glamorous.
Also, when putting on your foundation, use caution if you are going out at night: A bit of powder will help keep it in place throughout the night. Then set everything with loose powder so that your makeup stays put throughout even the most late-night dance parties.
How to layer Ultime Pro Eye Pencil with eyeliner
If you’re one of the people who find yourself constantly reapplying your eye makeup throughout the day, it might be time to rethink your approach to eye shadow and liner application. By layering the right products on top of each other, you can achieve a smooth, uniform look that lasts all day long and doesn’t require constant maintenance. In this article, we’ll tell you how to layer Ultime Pro Eye Pencil with eyeliner to achieve maximum impact without sacrificing the natural look you want to achieve.
Before you start
Use a primer. This one might seem like an obvious addition, but primers have a lot of benefits besides just making your eye makeup last longer. They also fill in pores, smooth out fine lines, blur under-eye circles and wrinkles, and create a barrier between skin and makeup that keeps your eye shadow from fading or creasing (important for darker colors).
They do a lot of things. We recommend Faces Canada's Eye Primer ($20), which creates such a nice base before applying any eyeshadow or liner. It’s my go-to product—I even use it on my lower lash line!
Step by step – I
Apply eyeshadow primer all over the eyelid is great for a full-coverage look) then apply Faces Canada's Pen in Black. Start on the top lash line and pull down just past your pupil.
Continue across the bottom lash line. Keep going until you've hit most of your lid, leaving a little space between your bottom lash line and your black color. Use a small blending brush to blend in any harsh lines or blend ULTIME PRO Creamy Touch Blending Brush. That’s it!
Step by step – II
On a clean eyelid, apply a thin layer of a pencil. Wait 5 minutes for it to set. Using short, light strokes, apply a fine line of gel liner on top of the pencil to create an ombre effect. Blend well with your fingertip or an eyeliner brush.
Finish by applying an extra coat of gel eyeliner on the top (and bottom) of your lash line to make it darker. If you want more volume, lightly brush hairspray over lashes as a finishing touch. To give lashes a boost before using brow-enhancing mascara, use serum every night before bed so they'll grow longer and faster!
Step by step – III
Your drawing will be more precise when using a pointed eyeliner. Start by holding your pencil vertically, then hold it horizontally close to your eye and make a very thin line. Connect both lines at their endpoints so that you create an anchor point for where you will want to apply your pencil. Draw small circles along that line until you reach that anchor point; once there, follow a slight curve from left to right or from right to left depending on what look you're going for.
A touch of mascara can go a long way in making your eyes pop. Be sure not to clump it on—you want just enough for definition. If you’re looking for some color, be sure to add a dab of eye shadow or eyeliner as well. I prefer gel liner but a pencil will do if that's all you have on hand. Start thin at first, then build up as needed, stopping before it gets gloppy or hardens.
You don’t want your liner clumping onto your lashes like spider legs! Rather than accentuating every lash, pay close attention to adding depth—lashes closest to your nose should be darker and more defined while those towards your brow should be thin (if present) or just slightly highlighted.
How to match Ultime Pro Eye Pencil shade to eyeshadow
Finding complementary shades to layer under or over your Ultime Pro Eye Pencil shade is a good way to freshen up your look. The right eyeshadow choice can make all the difference, so choose carefully! You should consider how bold you want your eyeshadow to be and whether it's better suited for daytime or nighttime wear.
If you love layering, there's no shame in doing it differently every day of your life. To match Ultime Pro Eye Pencil shade to eyeshadow, find a shade one or two levels darker than your pencil color (that means if you use Blackout, use one that’s either Dark Brown or Charcoal). Then add White Gold shimmer to pop out any summer tan.
How to match Ultime Pro Eye Pencil shade with the outfit
Match your eye pencil with a darker color to create depth to draw more attention to it. To match our pencil with clothing, make sure your outfit's neutral, or wear a little color (which would be great if it compliments your makeup).
Layer lighter colors if you want something brighter that will still pop! Ultime Pro Eye Pencil can go from an everyday look to a party look with just a few layers. For starters, start with one layer of white under your eyes and on your eyelid. Take a layer of black on top of that – you can even use both colors in different ways; black by using liner or Ultime Pro Eye Pencil directly under all-over eyeshadow with some pressed up around the corners of your eye.
How to prep eyes
If you're using an eyeliner pencil, it's a good idea to warm up your eyelids first. It's easiest to do this if you have a light brush: using short back-and-forth strokes, start at your inner lash line. Make sure not to go over any existing eye makeup or skin; just heat your lid muscles.
Your liner will glide on much more easily that way. To prep eyes before using any other kind of eyeliner, prime with pencil or shadow just as you would for normal application—this smooths out lids so there aren't rough patches for your liner to catch on.
How to use Ultime Pro Eye Pencil as eyeshadow
You can apply Ultime Pro Eye Pencil to your lids to get a rich eyelid color. This will last much longer than just using eyeshadow because it is not applied directly on your eyelid but rather on your eyeshadow base. Apply a primer or a base to keep your eyeshadow look in place, then apply eyeshadow as normal and finish by applying Ultime Pro Eye Pencil at an angle as if drawing a wing on your upper lid.
How to do a wing with Ultime Pro Eye Pencil
Learning how to do a winged eyeliner eye pencil is an art. To create perfectly-smooth wings, try using your Ultime Pro Eye Pencil to trace your line first before adding a second layer of eyeliner. (While some people swear by eye pencils like Faces Canada Eye Pencil, we think it's best to use an eyeliner that won't tug at your skin.) Take note of just how precise and controlled you are when doing liner with eye pencil — these little details will pay off big time when you switch to real liquid or gel liner. Once you've mastered application with a thinner tool, switching over should be a breeze.
How to do a smokey eye with Ultime Pro Eye Pencil
You may be wondering if you can layer eye pencils with a powder or liquid eyeliner eye pencil. The answer is: absolutely, yes! Just make sure that whatever you choose to layer your pencil with has more than enough pigment, so it doesn’t smear over your eye pencil. For example, choose an eye pencil in a shade of brown or black (Nudie colors will also work well) to keep things simple. After you finish creating your smokey eye look, take an angled eyeliner brush (or even a flat eyeshadow brush) and run it gently under your lash line to remove any excess color.
Ultime Pro Eye Pencil tips and tricks
The Eye Pencil by itself is a powerful liner. When paired with eyeliner and mascara, it's unstoppable. In this post, we'll give you tips on how to apply each product to get that perfect layered look every time. It may seem a little overwhelming at first, but once you get into a routine, your eyes will become one of your best features. Who doesn’t want that?
How do you keep your eye pencil on all day?
If you don’t know how to keep your eye pencil on all day, you’re not alone. To combat smudging, sharpen your pencils before use, press hard while lining your eyes, wait 30 seconds between lining your top lid and bottom lid, then reapply after each blink. Another helpful trick? Apply an eye shadow primer in place of a traditional eyeliner base to prime your lids for extra staying power.
How do I get my eye pencil to work?
This is a common question for anyone who uses Faces Canada eye pencil. The secret is to apply your eye pencil over primer as a base, then go over it again. If you don't have primer handy, take a bit of concealer or even eye shadow in a different color that matches your UD pencil and use that to prime before applying. You'll get a more intense color payoff that way! Whatever you do, be sure to work quickly before they set!
Ultime Pro Eye Pencil hacks
So, if you’re a fan of using eyeliner to get just enough definition without doing too much, you may want to try layering it with another product first. On days when I’m in a rush but still want my eyes to look chic, I’ll layer two shades of eyeshadow eye pencil (typically something matte) on my lids before dipping an angled brush into some liner.
Then I use that same brush to apply a little more liner on top and outside of what was already there. Voilà! A look that takes about 15 seconds flat! For even more drama: forgo your traditional powder highlighter for something more intense like glitter.
How to properly remove Ultime Pro Eye Pencil
To properly remove Ultime Pro Eye Pencil, first set a timer for 2 to 3 minutes. Then, place a cotton pad saturated in makeup remover on your eyelid. After two minutes, gently rub your eye in small circles until you’ve removed all of your makeup. Rinse your eyes with cool water, pat dry with a tissue, and then re-apply your moisturizer.
If you find that cleaning up takes longer than expected (i.e., you don't remove it completely), try decreasing the number of layers or altering how much pressure you apply when layering on extra coats. It can also help to press an ice cube against eyelids for 10 seconds between applications; just be sure to do so before removing each layer!
Will it last all day?
Most women want eyeliner eye pencils that can last all day. When it comes to eyeliners, there are a lot of differences in how long they will last, from whether or not you're wearing waterproof or water-based products. Many companies will also boast about the technology that goes into creating their liners so they can stay on longer.
However, sometimes those claims don't add up in real life. The best way to figure out if eyeliner is going to last through your day is by reading user reviews and seeing what past customers say about longevity. If a product doesn't have great reviews because people couldn't get it off after 12 hours—skip it!
Is it easily blendable?
The key to a perfect eye pencil eyeshadow look is bendability. If you're layering, each layer must be seamless and flawless—especially if you want to avoid looking like a unicorn threw up on your face. If a product isn't blendable, it won’t be as versatile or long-lasting.
This can make achieving bolder looks difficult or force you into using heavy-handed brush strokes that will create a choppy look in comparison to what you were trying for. A good way to test whether or not your eyeliner is blendable enough for layering is through careful application.
Do these pencils come with a sharpener?
No, these eye pencils are not sharpenable.
Is the pigment safe for people with sensitive skin?
The pigment used in the Ultime Pro Eye pencil is water-based, making it safe for people with sensitive skin. Just make sure to follow the steps listed below when using the product. Keep in mind that products that are safe for one person might not be safe for someone else, so test the product on a small area of your skin before applying it across your eyelid or brow. If you do experience irritation or itching, wash off the product immediately with water and stop using it. Consult a dermatologist if your symptoms don’t improve.
